Let us compare the Longchamp Le Pliage and the LL Bean boat and tote Both of these totes are a size medium And the size is very comparable. They both have fabric bodies but the Longchamp is made of nylon and the LL Bean tote is 100% cotton. The Longchamp also has leather trimmings and a zipper while the LL bean tote doesn’t have any hardware. They’re both incredibly easy to clean. I throw the boat and tote in the washing machine and wipe down my Longchamp (but some people throw it in the washing machine too) They both fold up but the Longchamp has a clasp to keep it securely folded so it stays in place and is easier to fold and store.
