Summering the only way I know how🎉

Ok, but really this is fun making a tree for different holidays🎄

All these fun tree fillers came from dollar tree and hobby lobby and made for the cutest patriotic tree for the summer- Memorial Day, 4th of July + Labor Day🇺🇸

And my kids absolutely love it! Core memories were made with their help of throwing this together 🤍

My go-to for tree decorating:
-always wrap your lights first after fluffing your branches
-fill your tree with tulle….i used red, white + blue tulle from the dollar tree + cut into about 9 to 12 inch pieces and stick all in the tree
-hang your big ornaments, signs or pieces
-I added star garland + flag garland by cutting into small strips and filling in the gaps
-then hang little ornaments or fill with small picks and add small pieces of ribbon for more filler
-and save the best for last- THE TREE TOPPER…I always save until last + there’s no right way. Just add your stems in and use what you have left over to stick through out the tree for fillers
-and I always use a blanket as a tree skirt. It adds texture and fullness to the bottom and saves you some $$🤗

And as fun as holiday decorating is, we can’t forget the reason why we celebrate. A big thank you to all those who have sacrificed their lives for us and our freedom. Today we honor your service, selflessness and sacrifice to our country. We remember those who have lost their lives and the ones who have dedicated theirs, Happy Memorial Day 🇺🇸
