🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 for Elsie Silver’s Flawless. If you told me a month ago when I bought this book that I’d fall in love with a cowboy, I’d laugh in your face. So, imagine my surprise (but not really) when I fell head over heels with another fictional character—Rhett Eaton. 😍 Then, there’s my sweet little Summer. Wise beyond her years, kind, and caring. Flawless was flawless to me. I enjoyed reading it so much.

🌟🌟🌟🌟 for #icebreaker by @hannahgraceauthor. I liked this book — it was cute, quick, and incredibly spicy. 🥵 I was ready to rate it three stars because of some things I didn’t like, but I really enjoyed the ending, and that’s what bumped the rating for me. I’m looking forward to reading Wildfire in the future. 🙃

I hated this book. The story was okay, but Evangeline’s naïveté was so annoying. Like, get it together, sis. I wanted to stop reading, but I couldn’t because I needed to know who did it. Which brings me to my hate of whodunits. It’s not for me. I don’t like it in movies, and I definitely don’t like it in books now. I didn’t like how the story was written like a fairy tale, although I get why it was. It read a little too poetic with the whodunit aspect, which confused me sometimes.

I did like Jacks, though, and I wish more were revealed about him in this book. I guess I’ll need to read the second and third books and the Caraval series to learn more. Ugh, I really don’t want to, but that ending is going to leave me reeling if I don’t satisfy it.

🌟🌟🌟🌟 for Lauren Asher’s The Fine Print (book 1 in the Dreamland Billionaires series). I finished reading this book late last night, and I enjoyed it a lot. The two-person POV, the humanness of the characters, and the quick chapters made it feel like I flew through reading the book. I’m looking forward to reading the next two books soon!

Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask and FutureWise Slug Balm are helping me replenish and maintain the moisture in my — normally oily — skin, which has been dry and crusty our entire California trip. I bought the new Summer Fridays Rich Cushion Cream, and — I can’t believe I’m saying this — it is a great cream for oily skin. I try to stay away from thicker creams with my oily skin, but this one is fluffy, like merengue, and it doesn’t clog my pores.

I only use it at night for extra hydration, especially since I sleep with the air conditioner on, but I can see myself using it during the day when it gets cooler. It’s also a great moisturizer to use on top of my gentle retinol.

Great for all skin types, fine lines and wrinkles, dryness, and loss of firmness and elasticity.

I bought an ergonomic mouse because of some pain I have in my thumb, elbow, and shoulder from multiple things, like being on the computer and my phone to crocheting and gaming for long periods. I decided to try the Logitech Lift, a vertical ergonomic mouse for small/medium-sized hands. I just got it today, so I’ll let you know how I like it in a couple of weeks.
