These were so good I had to order more 🤎🤎

When I moved in, I knew the blinds had to go. No matter how much I cleaned them, they stayed dingy, didn’t close right, and totally ruined the look of the rooms. I started with my main living and dining rooms, and loved it so much I had to do the kitchen and media room area as well.

I went with the motorized light-filtering roller shades in “Texture Beige” from a company I found on Amazon. I debated blackout vs light-filtering, but I’m so glad I chose light filtering… they give full privacy while still letting in that warm, natural glow that makes the whole space feel cozy and inviting.

They’re cordless, rechargeable with a simple USB, easy to install, and fully customizable in size. They’re also Alexa compatible, which I’ll be setting up next. Now I can’t wait to replace the rest of the house.. these spoiled me 🤣

✨ The Target finds I couldn’t say no to.

I’m absolutely obsessed with the marble pumpkins.. between the ones I had last year and the new ones this year, they look so good styled together on my mantle. Their taper candles with the subtle fall prints are the perfect touch for my dining room, and I love how their woven mini pumpkins look on my coffee table (such an affordable find that works anywhere!). 🍂

There were a few more fall arrangements I had my eyes on, but I limited myself to just this one. I paired it with the velvet candle in Marshmallow Suede… which not only looks pretty, but is hands down my favorite scent from the new line. 🕯️✨

Yeah, I def wish I would have gotten one of these sooner.

I love being a homeowner but grass cutring has always been a chore… especially with all the bugs around here. I’ve been thinking about this for a long time and finally decided to just do it. I wanted something that could help with everyday maintenance in between big grass cuttings or MAYBE even replace it altogether. (We will see)

I didn’t expect this to look so clean 🤎🤎

When I moved in a year ago I knew right away the blinds had to GO. I tried scrubbing them, but they were so stained, didn’t close properly, and honestly just an eyesore. Finally replaced them, and I’m so glad with what I went with!

I found this company on Amazon and chose the motorized light filtering roller shades in “Texture Beige.” At first I was torn between blackout or light filtering, but I’m really happy I chose the light filtering… you still get privacy but with that soft, natural light coming through that makes the room feel SOOO cozy.

They’re rechargeable with a simple USB charger, completely cordless, easy to install, and the sizing is customizable. I haven’t synced them with Alexa yet, but they’re compatible and that is next on my list. I cannot wait to do the rest of the house.. it’s bothering me even more now 🤣

What a difference 🤎🤎 Did a quick little console table swap in my entryway and it’s just right. I loved the rattan table from my last house, but it wasn’t bringing the warmth I wanted in this new space. This walnut toned console is larger but compact enough for a smaller wall and adds richness and balance.

Finally got my hands on the viral Our Place Always Pan 2.0 and I get the hype. This is the 10.5 inch in the color Steam and it’s honestly stunning in person. 🤍 It matches my kitchen perfectly.

It’s designed to replace several pieces of cookware, and while I haven’t explored every feature yet, I already love the built in strainer (great for pasta nights 🍝), the deep sides, and the little details like the spatula rest 🍳. I painted my grass. Yes, actually. And no, I wasn’t prepared for how good it would look 🤣

Backstory: My husband put down some kind of product that completely fried the lawn… literally overnight. The yard has been an uphill ever since moving in last summer but we were making good progress… until one move ruined everything. And I needed a quick fix.

I didn’t even know grass dye was a thing until I searched it up on Amazon. This stuff was super affordable, and honestly I was curious. I figured whatever, let’s give it a shot. I thought it would be silly, but it actually worked. Like… it worked really well.

That said… this was no quick job. I used a basic sprayer and it took me almost four hours to finish the front yard. But the difference was instant. Supposedly, it can last up to a month, so I’m excited to see how it holds up while I get the grass back on track. Always happy to be your guinea pig for these unhinged DIY’s ✨
