What I wore to Greece

Look no.3: Meeting my godson outfit

This outfit combination will forever have the most special place in my heart 💙 I wore it to meet my godson and I’ve decided to only use it when I visit the baby so it stays clean! It was warm in Greece so linen was the sensible choice. I combined a pair of brown shorts with a burgundy shirt.

I was in a lot of pain due to the calcification on my shoulder but I didn’t want to let it stop for spending time with my favourite people! We rented an apartment on the same building that my friend lives in so I could go there every single day and spend time with them 🥹 Nothing like a baby love to make you feel better ❤️

I’m so grateful I could take this trip and meet my godson when he was only 1 month old. Missing these moments is the hardest part of living abroad 😔

I got today some amazing news regarding the calcification.. The majority of it broke hence the extreme pain when I was in Greece!! I couldn’t be happier with these news 🥹 It means my body is taking care of it without needing a more invasive treatment! 🎉

What I wore to Greece

Look no.2: Baptism outfit

One of the reasons I went to Greece this time was to attend Zoe’s baptism, the baby girl of two of my good friends in Greece! Before I moved to the Netherlands, I promised to myself and my friends that I would do everything I can to be present on special occassions in their lives and I’m proud to say that so far I kept my word!

For the occassion I wore a scarf as a top and I combined it with a pair of light blue trousers. I had a backpack on this trip so I wasn’t able to bring any heels with me therefore I wore the only pair I had in Greece that somewhat matched 🙈 Thank goodness I found a bag in my closet that looked good with the look because I was prepared to go bag free!

Moving on to accessories. I wore my new earrings from Billskinner Studio x @hellomissjordan . They matched the look so perfectly with the pearls and the roses. Gold dainty bracelets and rings finished the look.

Initially I was thinking to go for a total burgundy look (last slide) with a linen shirt and a polka dot skirt but I changed my mind last minute. What do you think? Did I make the right choice or should I have chosen the burgundy look?

The baptism was so beautiful! From the decorations to the food everything was great! And Zoe is the cutest little baby 🥹 I’m so happy I was able to attend ❤️

What I wore to Greece

Look no.1: Airport/travel outfit

I left the house at 6am so it was a bit chilly therefore I had to go for layers. I knew that in Greece it would be around 28°C if not more when I would land so the first layer had to be a navy blue sleeveless top.

Then I added a cardigan and a trenchcoat in the same colour for extra warmth. I needed the trenchcoat in the morning and when I came back to the Netherlands but didn’t use it while in Greece at all. I finished the look with a pair of black trousers and nude ballet flats. I didn’t wear any accessories and I had with me a burgundy bag.

Whenever I fly I try to be comfortable, warm and put together and this outfit ticked all the boxes!

One of the reasons I’m excited for good spring and summer weather is to be able to use again my silk scarves and twillies! I love them so much but I don’t want to risk using them when it’s raining.

Silk is a beautiful fabric but quite delicate and can be damaged or ruined by water. And because it rains all the time in the Netherlands, especially in autumn and winter I avoid using them!

There is a new patisserie in town since December called Orphée everything they make is divine! When my parents in law were here for a week we went to buy desserts 3 times! This is the level of amazing they are!

Back in March it was my second time attending a Moda Productions fashion show and this time it was at the opera!

The shows were amazing, the atmosphere magical and for a brief moment I looked around and couldn’t believe that was my life. It took me 20 years for this dream to come true! 20 years!! I was a teenager in my city in Greece dreaming of going to Paris and attending fashion week! Everyone told me that it will never happen and that I dream too big, but nothing is too big if you work hard for it!

It will forever be a core memory 🥹

There is no better feeling than wearing something you made yourself 🥹

Both times I attending Paris Fashion Week I wore, for at least one of the looks, something I made 🪡 This year I went for a black glittery top and matching skirt! I made the skirt back in 2024 to wear to my best friend’s wedding party as her made of honour. I made the top in 2025 to wear to the Santinni party!

The theme was “dripping in diamonds”! The glittery set was the perfect base for it. I combined it with rhinestone tights and headband. Sparkly accessories and my favourite Santinni coat were the final touches!

This glittery set is proof that you don’t need a lot of clothes, you need the right ones! Not gonna lie, when I first made it in 2024 I didn’t think I’ll ever have another occasion to rewear the pieces. But I already wore the skirt 4 times and this top 2!

I spent half day today making a baby blanket for my godson 🥹💙 I’m so happy with how it turned out ☺️

A local sewing supply store is closing down due to retirement and I managed to get all these gutermann threads with 1 euro each! I couldn’t believe it honestly! Unfortunately I found out they are closing quite late so 80% if not more of the stock was already gone!

Luckily I found a thread box as well to store all my new threads! These are not all mine though, I bought some for my mum as well ☺️

There is something about red lipstick that makes you feel powerful and unstoppable, am I right?

Before my trip to Paris I bought the Guerlain limited edition case from the blooming demin collection in the colour Red Rose. To match the case I bought a lipstick in red colour as well, I chose the shade 777.

I felt fabulous wearing it, it made me feel so beautiful and confident! What lipstick colour makes you feel the same?

Spring outfit I wore in Paris on our last day in the city!

A pink turtleneck top combined with a burgundy/plum pair of trousers and black boots. A burgundy/plum coat and bag finished the look!

A transitional winter to spring look in my favourite colours! The coat wasn’t needed in the mid of the day but was necessary in the morning and evening.
