When I bought my new MacBook Pro in 2017 I didn’t realize that the charging port was the same as the new USB ports, and that with the 13” they only give you 2 ports. If I want to charge my computer and copy photos from a card reader to an external hard drive it’s literally impossible. This adapter gadget has been WELL worth the money and even has an SD card reader built in.
