in today’s edition of tech talks with julia: my dyson airstrait review!!

i’ve had this for about a year now & i bring it with me on trips as my hairdryer + straightener!! i barely ever touch my dyson airwrap any more 🫢

here’s what i love….
😍 no hot plates / extreme heat… no more smoke clouds that look like i’m cooking breakfast on my head lol
😍 for some reason it’s not as much of an arm workout???
😍 hair is shiny and not frizzy afterwards
😍 if you set it down on counter for a break, it’ll automatically sense it and pause the airflow. SO COOL!

a few honest cons…
🫢 takes a few times going over pieces because my hair is thick but again… still only takes 7 mins to take my hair from soaking wet to straight AND dry.
🫣 the priceeeee 🥵 but i bought mine refurbished from walmart so it was only $260 instead of $400… i have it 🖇️ on my l t k !!
🤨 cord is a little bulky and there’s not really a nice way to transport it (but i also didn’t get the carrying case with mine since i bought it refurbished… so that’s on me hahah) but it takes up much less space than the airwrap does!

i know the airwrap is a completely different styling tool, but honestly i never use the styling attachments on the airwrap because the curls don’t usually stay in my hair. so the airstrait wins this one for me!!
