A little diy makeover for Asher’s play kitchen, inspired by @whereheartresides and her @mybtoys wooden kitchen makeover ✨ I had so much fun putting my little spin on it and making my vision come to life ✨ & this was just what I needed! A little creative fun and putting love into something for my boy 🤍 He’s still a bit young for it, but if anything he thinks he’s getting away with something by playing in the sink and throwing the little accessories all around, plus he can grow into it 🥲 Now, disclaimer: I truly don’t know anything when it comes to paint. And these days when I get something in my head and actually find the time to do it, I just gota run with it and figure it out as I go. Oh, and did I mention I’m impatient? There’s a few things I wish I would have waited for to get started (like tape, to tape off around the “glass” areas), and definitely a few things I would have done differently (like sand, and add one more coat of primer to the white top part). But! I’m in love with the end result and I don’t think Asher will notice the little things 🥰 I can’t tell who’s having more fun with it, him or me! I did know I wanted a paint with 0 to low VOCs, or greenguard certified since it’ll be inside, after talking with the lady at Lowe’s, I went with the Valspar signature in a satin finish, which has 0 VOCs 👌🏼 Sharing deets & links below ✨ Paint (top): Valspar signature in Fresh Cotton Paint (bottom): Valspar signature in Midnight Fog Hardware: Rub’ n buff in Gold Leaf Personalized rainbow hoop: @littomiracle 🤍 Dairy wooden set: @miltonandgoose Wooden crate, play food set: @melissaanddougtoys thanks to @lifewithyu_ ✨ Felt choco chip cookies & printed backsplash: @etsy Other accessories: @tjmaxx @target @amazon LTKfamily LTKkids
