A big trend I’m seeing in stores for fall is a simple striped t-shirt! I have always loved stripes because they are a simple way to elevate an otherwise plain t-shirt. I paired them back to my black cotton twill shorts that I wear religiously in the summer and a simple pair of flip flops.

The last of my summer looks! I’m trying to transition my looks to fall but the weather won’t cooperate so I’m making small changes in my color palette and shoe choices instead. I wore these maryjane ballet flats in lieu of sandals. I paired them back with some “me-made” cotton twill shorts and a little white baby tee and a vintage woven bag!

I went to a summer concert a few weeks ago and I immediate knew I wanted to wear my high ride taper jeans! My FAVORITE summer midi dress from Madewell. It’s made with really great, medium weight cotton with a pretty jacquard detail. It has a comfortable smocked bodice to keep the girls secure and adjustable straps. It’s been so comfortable and has gotten a ton of use this summer!

The best high rise denim shorts for the women with curves! The dad shorts from Abercrombie have been my favorite jean shorts for the last few years. They last me summer after summer and the fit is the best I’ve found after years of struggling with gapping at the waist. Highly recommend these if you’re curvy and want the slightly looser denim shorts look!

I’m loving overalls for spring! They’re so easy to layer with a plain t-shirt and a cardigan if it gets chilly out. The new Taper Jeans from abercrombie are the BEST relaxed fit jeans I’ve tried to date. Perfectly high waist, relaxed through the hip and a slight taper toward the ankle with a full length inseam makes for a perfect baggy fit. Plus this khaki color makes it a fun pair to style! I’ve already purchase this in the two other colors 🙈
