CLASSIC HUMMUS RECIPE Ingredients: • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed • 1/4 cup tahini • 2–3 tbsp fresh lemon juice • 1 small garlic clove, minced • 2 tbsp olive oil • 1/2 tsp salt • 2–3 tbsp cold water or reserved liquid from beans ⸻ Directions: 1. Blend tahini and lemon juice for 1 minute until creamy. 2. Add garlic, olive oil, and salt. Blend again. 3. Add chickpeas and blend until smooth. 4. Add water 1 tbsp at a time until desired creaminess. 5. Taste and adjust seasonings. 6. Spoon into a bowl and top with garnish. *I added jalapeño olive oil and everything but the bagel seasoning.
