🧼✨ Hygiene for your home.

A beautiful home isn’t just about how it looks—it’s about how it feels, functions, and supports your everyday life. Keeping your home clean, fresh, and well-maintained is one of the easiest ways to make it feel better to live in. 🤍

My home hygiene non-negotiables:

1️⃣ Change your HVAC filter regularly
A clean filter helps improve indoor air quality, reduce dust and allergens, and keep pet hair and dander under control. 🌬️

2️⃣ Run an air purifier
Especially if you have pets! I keep ours running in the spaces we use most to help capture airborne dust, pollen, pet dander, smoke particles, and other pollutants. 🐾

3️⃣ Wash your bedding weekly
There is nothing better than getting into a freshly made bed. I love white bedding because it’s easy to keep looking crisp and clean, and having an extra set makes weekly resets so much easier. 🤍

4️⃣ Vacuum + mop consistently
Floors collect SO much more than we realize. Regular vacuuming and mopping helps prevent dirt, dust, hair, and allergens from building up. Pro tip: vacuum slowly and use a floor cleaner appropriate for your specific flooring. 🧹✨

5️⃣ Keep hypochlorous acid on hand
One of my favorite everyday home products. Depending on the formulation, hypochlorous acid can be used to sanitize or disinfect surfaces and help tackle odor-causing microbes—without the harsh smell of traditional cleaners. Always follow your specific product’s label for where and how to use it. 💧

6️⃣ Make your home smell fresh
Whether it’s a diffuser, candle, or simply opening the windows for some fresh air, scent is one of those little details that completely changes how your home feels. 🌿

Because a home that feels luxurious isn’t necessarily the one with the most expensive decor—it’s the one that feels clean, fresh, comfortable, and cared for. ✨

How to Style Your Bedroom Pillows Like a Designer

If your bed feels like it’s missing something, your pillow setup might be the reason. 🛏️🤍 These are the 4 rules I use as an interior designer to make a bed feel layered, intentional, and finished:

1. Choose your configuration ⭐️
Decide on the look you’re going for first. Clean and minimal? Full and layered? Traditional and cozy? There’s no one “right” setup—the configuration sets the tone for the entire bed.
2. Keep it symmetrical ⭐️
When in doubt, symmetry always works. Matching pairs instantly make your bed feel balanced, polished, and put together.
3. Pay attention to sizing ⭐️
Work from largest to smallest and don’t be afraid to size up! Larger pillows in the back create height, while smaller decorative pillows in front add dimension.
4. Layer color, texture + pattern ⭐️
This is what takes your bed from basic to designer. Mix different fabrics, subtle patterns, and complementary colors to create a collected look without making it feel too busy.

A beautifully styled bed doesn’t need a million pillows—it just needs the right ones. 🤍
