My favorite place in the entire world? My bedroom. 🛏️ It’s my safe space—calm, peaceful, and strategically designed to feel that way. Here are 5 things I did to create this vibe: 1. Quality everything. Bedding, mattress, sheets, duvet—these are things you use every single day, so they’re worth investing in. Comfort > everything. 2. Small bedroom hacks that make it feel big. Ceiling-to-floor curtains to draw the eye up, mirrors behind nightstands for the illusion of space, and always, ALWAYS go big with your area rug. It anchors the room and makes it feel cohesive. 3. All the lamps. I have 4 (and honestly wish I had more). Layered, low ambient lighting + smart bulbs you can dim or adjust the warmth = instant cozy vibe. 4. Big, functional nightstands. I love a three-drawer nightstand for extra storage. And yes, organize that top drawer—sleep mask, gummies, nighttime skincare—because nothing ruins a vibe like clutter. 5. The right paint color. A warm white that feels soft and inviting (but test swatches first!). The wrong paint can kill the cozy vibe instantly. Your bedroom should feel like a retreat… mine’s basically my sanctuary.
