If your mantle has been stressing you out every holiday season… this one’s for you. Here are the 5 essential steps to getting that designer look without overthinking it:
1. Layer multiple garlands
One garland is fine… but multiple garlands? Chef’s kiss. Layering different textures instantly adds depth, movement, and that really rich, expensive look.
2. Choose your configuration
Decide your vibe early on. Do you love a more asymmetrical swoop with heavy volume on one side? Or are you team balanced and centered? Both are gorgeous—you just need to commit to the style from the start.
3. Add stems + florals for volume
This is your “go crazy” moment. Stems add height, color, and dimension. And if you want your entire home to feel cohesive, pull colors or textures from your Christmas tree into your mantle. This works especially well for asymmetrical designs.
4. Add lights for movement
Fairy lights or twinkle lights woven through the garlands make everything feel magical at night. It adds the prettiest subtle movement—trust me, this step is underrated.
5. Finish with bows + stockings

Let’s talk blank walls — because they’re either your best friend… or your biggest design headache. Here are 5 designer-approved ways to fill (or not fill) that space:
1. A large statement piece
The easiest, most versatile option. A single oversized art piece works anywhere — your entryway, above your bed, or on a random empty wall. And if you want to elevate it? Add sconces on each side for instant drama.
2. A gallery wall
I’m not obsessed with gallery walls, but if you’re going to do one, do it right:
• Anchor it with a piece of furniture
• Keep the frames close together (tight spacing = intentional, airy spacing = chaos)
3. Matted frames
My personal favorite. Matted frames instantly add customization and that high-end, elevated feel. They work over a bed, behind nightstands, down a hallway — truly such a chic, timeless option.
4. Mirrors
Mirrors are your secret weapon in dark or dull areas. I love them in dining rooms and entryways to add light + depth.
🚫 But absolutely never put a mirror above a bed — it always looks off and throws the whole room’s balance.
5. Leave it blank
Yes… really. Sometimes the most designer move is to let the room breathe. If you’re unsure how to decorate a wall, choosing to leave it empty is always better than filling it with something you don’t love.

✨ BEST OF 2025 • PT 2 ✨
Today we’re talking about one of my MOST asked-about routines:
my super simple, super effective laundry routine — the one that makes everything clean, soft, and fresh without spending $$$. 🧺✨
If your laundry has ever felt stiff, dingy, or just off… this routine will change your life.
Here’s exactly what I do ⬇️
1. My washer is the Elite Trio
This thing is a powerhouse. It cleans SO well that you don’t need tons of product.
2. Detergent: LESS is more
I use Persil laundry detergent and you only need ¼ cup.
Anything more than that = total waste + buildup on your clothes.
3. NO fabric softener… ever
Fabric softener doesn’t actually clean your clothes — it coats them.
Instead, I use white vinegar in the fabric softener compartment.
It cleans, sanitizes, brightens, and leaves everything naturally softer.
4. Borax = my holy grail
I sprinkle Borax directly on top of the clothes.
It’s a powerful laundry booster that:
• deep-cleans
• whitens
• removes buildup
• makes detergent work better
These three products? They last MONTHS and are insanely affordable.
5. If you love scent…
I shared my two favorite laundry scents that are seasonal right now.
Add them if you want that elevated, cozy vibe — totally optional.
6. Dryer routine = luxury hotel moment
Two things only:
• Wool dryer balls
• A few drops of my essential oil (boujee, fresh, and SO easy)
This is what gives everything that soft, clean-laundry smell without chemicals.
That’s it.
Simple, clean, inexpensive, effective.

If you want that designer, Pinterest-worthy Christmas tree… this is your step-by-step formula 🎄💫
1. Fluff, fluff, fluff
The most important step. If you don’t fluff properly, you’ll end up with gaps everywhere — and the fewer holes you have, the easier the rest of the tree is to decorate. Don’t skip this!
2. Add more lighting
Unless you splurged on the famous Home Depot tree, you need my Amazon lighting hack. Add extra string lights throughout your tree and the before/after is INSANE. Lighting is what makes a tree magical.
3. Garlands + ribbon
This is where the “interior designer” touch really begins. Add lots of garland and ribbon to create movement, dimension, and layers. If decorating a tree overwhelms you, break it into three vertical sections and decorate one at a time — game changer.
4. Ornaments
The fun part! Choose ornaments based on size, color, and texture so your tree feels balanced and intentional. This is how you get that full, styled, Pinterest-level look.
5. Foliage
Have any dead or flat spots? Add foliage stems to fill them in and create that lush, full shape. (And yes — this makes all the difference.)
