Because your home should be your favorite place in the entire world. As an interior designer and certified homebody, I want you to treat it that way.

1️⃣ Your walls are boring… but they don’t have to be.
Family gallery walls absolutely have their place, but taking it one step further makes all the difference. Try colored mats or colored frames instead of the overused all-white look 🎨 It instantly feels more intentional and designed.

2️⃣ Your wall art is probably too small.
It’s time to think bigger. A bold, oversized piece in an entryway or dining room creates impact fast. One of my favorite 2026 trends? Tapestries or hanging rugs on the wall 🧵 They add texture, movement, and unique interest.

3️⃣ We’re craving intentionality.
Frame something meaningful — your grandmother’s handwritten recipe, a receipt from a great girls’ night, a poem, a note 🤍 Something sentimental, unexpected, and a little funky that sparks conversation (and is usually free).

4️⃣ Plate walls are HUGE in 2026.

This is my 5-step cleaning routine when I don’t want it to just look clean — I need it to feel clean. I always start by decluttering so everything has a home, then I get laundry and linens going (fresh sheets, guest towels, cozy throws = non-negotiable). After that, I deep clean all the high-traffic areas — kitchen, bathrooms, floors — before resetting the air with vacuuming, mopping, open windows, and my diffuser running. I finish with the final touches: fluffed pillows, wiped surfaces, and candles lit.
