I did 3 different unboxings and try ons in one day and I guess I just forgot to look in the mirror.

I'm obsessed with the butter yellow and I think these tees are going to be the perfect addition to my activewear wardrobe

@abercrombie fall essentials try-on as a midsize girl 🤎🍂👖 and this time we conducted a little experiment because I FINALLY tried Regular vs. Curve Love.

I’ve pretty much always assumed Curve Love would be the better fit for me because it’s designed with a little extra room through the hips and thighs… but after trying both fits side by side, I actually think REGULAR fits me better?! 👀

For sizing reference, I’m 5’3” | 42” bust | 36.5” waist | 43.5” hips and typically wear around a size 10 / L-XL, depending on the piece.

I tried both Regular and Curve Love in the pants so you can actually see the difference on a midsize body, and I really like the way the Regular fits me! I feel like I’m getting a cleaner fit through the hips and thighs without some of the extra fabric I was getting with Curve Love. Honestly, I’m glad I finally tested them against each other because I probably would’ve kept automatically ordering Curve Love.

ALSO, the denim dress. I tried the Large Petite here, but after watching this back and seeing the extra room through the waist/body, I decided to size down. I’m currently exchanging it for the Medium Petite, so consider this part one because I’ll do an updated fit check when she gets here. 🫡

Moral of the story: sometimes the size or fit you think you need isn’t actually the one that fits you best. And this is exactly why I love doing try-ons because bodies + sizing are WEIRD.

Wearing vs. styling ✨

l've long been a wear the piece girly and I'm really trying hard to become a "style it" girl.

Normally I find a piece I can wear one way, with one outfit, and then I'm continuously buying clothes that only work once. Now, I'm trying hard to step outside of my comfort zone and find at least 3 way to wear one piece.

I recently got this jacket in the mail, and I decided to try to style it better than just my basic blue jeans and a tank top underneath.

What do we think? Which look is your favorite? I kind of love how lightweight and versatile this jacket is. I think it's going to be a staple in my closet this Fall.
