Finally found a mirror I like for the mantle so now I get to show you the before and after of our fireplace! It took about 12 hours total for 2 people to paint this damn thing 😬 but it was definitely worth it for this transformation! Was nice to see this table done up since it’s usually cluttered with all the things! Went pretty minimal with fall decor this year and only bought a few new things which were pretty inexpensive. My mom let me borrow the chargers and wooden dough bowl and I love how it turned out!

It’s Friday and I have 5 days off! Woohoo! I don’t know about you but I love my shower stuff in a pump dispenser. I can never decide what kind of center piece to put on my dining table because I never like too big of a display. My husband and I both use our laptops on our table and eat all our meals so big centerpieces usually just get in the way. @thesimplefarmhouse shared this vase with eucalyptus stems on her stories and I loved the simple look of it! I found fresh eucalyptus stems @traderjoes for $2.99 a bunch (I used two bunches in the vase). The eucalyptus has a nice mild scent to it so it’s perfect. Finally finished the shiplap wall! So glad @mstok20 talked me in to painting it black. This was our first time shiplapping and our first time painting a wall black but we love how it turned out! We decided to go with horizontal shiplap because there was only one stud on this wall and we didn’t want to use liquid nails. First post of 2021! New year, new bedding! Really have been loving this rust/clay color for an accent and I already owned this pretty velvet comforter and giant throw pillow. My sheets were a gray color and my quilt was black and white and getting a bit worn out so I added a few items in the tan color family to the bed. Out of it all I’m obsessed with the quilt and the king euro pillows from casaluna @target. Actually all the bedding can be found at Target! You will need:
•Jute cord (or some sort of stringing material around 1 mm)
•Scissors
•Yarn needle (I used a #16)
•Wool Pom Pom (2.5cm)
•Wood beads (25 mm)

Directions
•Thread cord through needle and start with wool pom for the end.
•Push needle through pom (you will have to push hard, I used the table to get needle through) and slide down to the end.
•Leave some space to tie off at the end.
•I alternated pom and wood beads.
•I left about a needle lengths cord between the poms and beads to keep consistent spacing.
•To keep the wood bead in place, string bead onto cord and the go back through bead to make a loop around bead.
•Keep alternating and finish off by tying a knot or loop at the end.
•You can make whatever length you want! Enjoy!

I’ve been wanting to try watercolor for a while and I finally jumped in! It has helped take my mind off things and is very relaxing! I’ve been following @emjlefebvre tutorials on YouTube, and she is awesome!
