I'm in the large of the top but I think a medium would fit best! It's a looser top to begin with and it has a bouncy fabric overall. It is slightly sheer, so a camisole may be needed. The jeans are the best! I'm in the 8 -- true to size but they run most fitted at the waist / hips.
