I wish grandparents were a forever thing ❤️ This past month, I lost both of my grandparents within days of each other and it’s hard to picture life without them. They were such a constant in my life…always a phone call away, always ready for a trip to the casino, a story, or words of encouragement. It’s difficult to accept that there will be no more visits, no more phone calls, and no more time together. What I wasn’t prepared for was helping my own little ones through this loss. Hearing them say they miss their granny and old grandpa has been a heartbreak all its own. I’m grateful for every memory, every lesson, every tradition, and every moment of love they gave us. Their impact on our family is immeasurable, and their legacy lives on through the stories we tell and the love they poured into all of us. We miss you every day, g & g! If you’re lucky enough to still have your grandparents, call them. Visit them. Take the photo.
