You all know I lean more holistic + natural, so my midwife recommended The Fresh Test for my glucose screening instead of the traditional dye-filled drink. Feeling good about choosing something with cleaner ingredients and fewer additives—Most women are never told what's actually in the glucose drink they're given during pregnancy
Artificial dyes, synthetic flavors, preservatives, and a massive sugar spike-all in the name of "testing."
Many women experience side effects like nausea, dizziness, headaches, and feeling awful for hours after drinking it. And yet, we're often told there's "no other option."
That's simply not true.
There are alternatives you can ask your provider about.

This is your reminder to be your own advocate. Ask questions. Read labels. Speak up. And if your provider isn't listening or isn't open to safer alternatives, you are allowed to change providers.
