Just finished! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cue me immediately booking a trip to positano Italy and drinking all the most delicious white wine available. Rebecca wrote one of my favorite books “in 5 years” and I was so pumped to read this one. It’s a sweet story of love and loss and adventure. It reads very quickly and was one I couldn’t stop thinking about after I finished. Really loved this one. Quick summary: a picturesque and magical trip to the Amalfi Coast of Italy! Katy's mother, Carol, has just passed away after a long illness. She was Katy's BFF, her confidant, her best resource for all the right answers. Katy feels completely unprepared to make a decision without her.

Oooo I loved this one. Just a really sweet nostalgic summer love story. It reads quickly and is just pure and good.

The second book of the series was better than the first but also only 110 pages so I read it in about an hour and a half. It had a better storyline than the first, but still so weird.

Honestly the jury is still out on this book for me. I’m still not even totally sure what this book or the series is about and I’m on book 3. It’s kind of a post apocalyptic or I don’t even know how to describe it world where people have random powers and they’re fighting against a corrupt government. It’s intriguing but so weird, I honestly don’t know if I can recommend it. Haha take it for what it’s worth! 🤷🏼‍♀️

The final book in this series 😭😭 I really loved how this one was about other characters but still had all the goods. I’m so sad to be done with these books and can’t wait for the next one! If you can’t tell I highly suggest this series. Don’t let the fantasy aspect scare you off!

Let me just apologize because I’m sensing that this years reads are going to be heavy on fantasy romance and I’m not mad about it. This is book 2 of this series and it was SO GOOD. It develops the characters, plot and everything even more than the first. And oh my gosh I’m addicted and proud 😊😊 yes it’s 600 pages but I read it in 6 days because I couldn’t put it down. If you start this series, welcome to the madness. It’s a beautiful place to be 😂😍

The whole time I was reading this book I thought “this is a cute story” (which it is!) BUT THE END?! What the heck?! It honestly sort of ruined the entire thing for me. It’s a sweet YA book about high school love and heartbreak. 💔

Brief summary: an introspective novel exploring the complexities of teenage relationships, love, and regret. The story unfolds through the eyes of Autumn, who reflects on her evolving relationship with her childhood friend, Finny.

It was a cute (very predictable) love story with first glance enemies, a TON of miscommunication, then turned lovers. It was an easy, cute read but nothing mind blowing. Apparently it’s the second book of a series but I don’t feel like I missed out by not reading the first one.

Omg. I loved this book just like the first. I know there are a ton of comparisons to Fourth Wing and that this one isn’t as good, but I tend to disagree. Yes it’s different. It’s more dense, has more history involved but it’s still sooo dang good. And yes, I cried at the end and now I feel hungover from it. I need the third asap

Omg. Omg. I loved this book. It’s so well written, descriptive, great plot and twists, the characters 🥵. Is it fantasy? Yes. Is it romance? Yep. Is it 500 pages? You betcha. Did I read it in 5 days and can’t stop thinking about it. Yes!

My first read of 2024! A very cute story about two scientists at Stanford, fake dating until it’s not fake, bad guys, good friends and a very quick read. I really enjoyed this one 🤍⭐️

Brief synopsis: The Love Hypothesis follows the main character Olive in trying to convince her best friend, Anh into thinking that her dating life is going great. In order to convince Anh, she pretends to date her professor, Adam. Olive and Adam try to convince everyone around them they are in love.

I loved this book. It starts as high schoolers and their last summer before college. But it turns into so much more. Heartbreak, love stories, tragedy, loss. I feel like I was reading the authors true story if that makes sense. Warning it’s 500 pages (I know I know) but it’s so good.

Brief summary: Her brother's best friend broke her heart, but what happens when his new teammate wants to put it back together? Arianna Johnson has been dreaming of what college life might bring, and it's finally coming over the horizon as she and her friends plan one last beachside summer together

SO SWEET. A very sweet YA book that reads like a 90s romcom. It reads so fast, it’s sweet and fun and just a cute story.

Brief summary: Better Than the Movies is about Liz Buxbaum, a fabulously eccentric high schooler coping with the grief of having lost her mom--while navigating the sparkly idea--and messy reality--of romance, with the inspiration of her mom's favorite romantic comedies.

Oooo she spicy 🌶️ but also sweet, great characters and a fun plot line. It reads easily like a YA book but definitely not for the young crowd 😂

Brief summary: Anastasia Allen, an aspiring Olympic ice skater, after an incident at college forces her to share an ice rink with the hockey team. When Anastasia's partner is injured, she must team up with Nathan Hawkins, the annoying hockey team captain in order to train for a competition

CREEEEEEPPPYYYYYY. OMG. I actually had to stop reading it before bed. Her books are soo good, easy to read, great thrillers but sheesh creepy!!

Brief summary: Rose's novel follows Grace, a NYC banker who comes to Dubois, Wyoming on a literal whim for her vacation, and Calvin, a country boy who operates a ranch and rents it out via Airbnb. Pluck a city girl and stick her in the country with a mysterious country boy, and that's the mystery premise.

Another hallmark movie in book form. If you’re wanting to read Christmas vibes with (very little) romance and just a sweet Christmas story, this is it. Plus her books are very short and easy to read.

Brief summary: In the weeks leading into Christmas, Kerry quickly becomes close with the charming neighbors who live near their stand. When an elderly neighbor goes missing, Kerry will need to combine her country know-how with her newly acquired New York knowledge to protect the new friends she's come to think of as family.

Wanna READ a hallmark movie? Then this is it. It’s a veryyyy short book (I read it in two sittings) and is very sweet. Very little romance (think hallmark like romance) and a cute Christmas story 🎄❤️🎅🏼

Brief summary: After her divorce, Ivy moves from Atlanta to a small town At the top of a closet, Ivy finds an old Santa suit―beautifully made and decades old. In the pocket of a suit she finds a note written in a childish hand: it's from a little girl who has one Christmas wish, and that is for her father to return home from the war. This discovery sets Ivy off on a mission.

By the end of this book I cried, laughed and actually missed the characters when I was done. It was a little slow to start but then I couldn’t put it down. Ashley is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors.

Brief summary: A romance ghostwriter who's lost her motivation after a breakup is haunted by the spirit of her newly departed editor in this whimsical paranormal romance. Florence Day doesn't believe in love or happily-ever-afters any longer.

Does anyone have this? Would it work for pregnancy??

I loved this book. Sarah writes the best and sweetest romance novels. Nothing too smutty, but with great characters you love, fun story lines, and it makes me want to move to Rome, Kentucky. This was my second book of hers (you gotta read “when in Rome!” too) and I can’t wait for more of her books. 📚

Honestly reviewing this book just makes me sad. It’s clear she’s very lonely and lost. This book is not it. It’s not well written, it reads like a wordy Instagram caption, and honestly if you’re on social media you’ve heard all of the stuff that’s in this book already. She might be “free” but I’m not sure she’ll ever really be “free” again. Skip. Skip and read some excepts online. Sorry Brit, I still love ya. We’re all still rooting for you. And hell you just hit #1. Get it. 📕📕

Oh how I loved this book. Top 5 of 2023. It was such a beautiful story of love, grief, friendship, growth, etc. I really enjoyed the characters and the story moved along so quickly and beautifully. I wish I could forget it and re-read it again.

Devon Daniels wrote my other favorite book of 2023 and this one is no different. I LOVED this book so much I read it in 2 days flat. I need a sequel now and 100 more books from her. I actually laughed out loud, loved the characters and I love her writing. Just a great romantic comedy book.

I LOVE her books. Her other book, Nora Goes off Script was my favorite read of 2022 and I think this one might be a top contender for 2023!

They read so well, you LOVE the characters, and honestly I just get lost in her books. Read it!
