What I’m listening to this week…
People always ask how I get through so many books. Truth is… I listen.

In the car. On walks. While getting ready. While cleaning the kitchen for the 84th time. 😂

But here’s the difference… I don’t just consume information like a professional self-help hoarder and then do absolutely nothing with it.

I actually APPLY it.

Most people want the results of disciplined people while scrolling instagram or having a fake therapy session with ChatGPT for 4 hours a night.

The books don’t change your life. Using what you learn does.

And honestly? A lot of people call others “obsessed” or “doing too much” when really they’re just uncomfortable watching someone else stop being lazy and/or avoidant.
READ THAT AGAIN.

So every week I’m going to share what I’m listening to because these books/podcasts genuinely make me think better, lead better, love my husband better, parent better, and show up better.

A big part of my health and weight loss coaching is learning to respect my nervous system.

I was unable to lose weight until I had my cortisol and adrenals balanced.

And as someone who is HIGHLY anxious and had some of my worst fears realized, my system is really sensitive.

After I get out of my special bath recipe each night, I slip on a 100% cotton gown (its a must for me), my Darth Vader mask AND I cover my stomach area with this weighted heating pad.
 Both my kids use it too now if they need to calm their systems.

It literally works like magic.
 So yes, im all about health, weight loss, and feeling joy even in the chaos of crazy hormones, and a big part of that is caring for YOUR Nervous system too.

Your body cant drop weight if you are constantly in the fight or flight state :)

This might sound dramatic… but this candle changes moods.

Like… I light it and suddenly I can think again. I feel calmer. Less scattered.

I don’t know if it’s the scent or just the pause… but I’m not questioning it.

Just one of those small things that helps me show up better.

I switched to this oil cleanser from the heavens! Not even kidding! I borrowed some when we were in Wisconsin and my life changed! Ha!

And then I started adding 1 drop of this sunless tanner to my moisturizer each night!

I use this moisturizer heavy at night and light in the morning!
