Something that I learned this year is that others disliking you is not a bad thing. I’ve known for a long time that I am not for everyone, but there was a huge part of me that still wanted to be accepted and liked. It hurt me to know that I wasn’t someone’s cup of tea. But when you are embodying the most authentic version of yourself, it instills fear in some people. So going into 2021, I am letting go of wanting to be liked.
