#AD It’s our first fall in this house, and we’re slowly making it feel like home.

I gave our dining room a refresh over the weekend with items from @wayfair . Nothing huge, just a few things to make this spot warmer, softer and somewhere we want to spend more time this season.

Little updates have become my favorite kind of home project lately. Not fully transforming a space, but making it work a little better for the life we’re actually living in it.

The kids said, “Mom, these chairs are SO comfortable now.”

And maybe that means they’ll linger around the table a bit longer after dinner, or grab another board game, or read one more chapter.

#AD Pizza night is one of our favorite ways to entertain in the summer. 🍕☀️

We set up the oven, put out a big salad, and let everyone build their own creations. It feels special without being complicated.

Lately our favorite specialty pizzas have been:
🍗 Buffalo Chicken
🥜 Thai Peanut Chicken
🍫 White Chocolate Raspberry (extra special when we can pick them from the yard!)

Everything in this setup came from @wayfair, from the serving pieces and dinnerware to the pizza oven itself.

And if you're still looking for a Father's Day gift, the pizza oven is currently shipping in time for Father's Day. 🔥

A tidy playroom never lasts long around here, but having the right storage definitely helps. ☀️
I love that the kids can easily access their toys, books, and activities on their own, and everything has a place when it's time to clean up.
We recently refreshed this space with a few favorite @wayfair finds, from toy storage and bookshelves to new lighting.
If you've been eyeing a few home updates, the Wayfair Hot Summer Sale is a great time to save on furniture, decor, storage, and more.

One of the most-used pieces in our playroom is this activity table. ✨
Between homeschool projects, coloring, puzzles and play-doh, it gets used every single day. My favorite feature is that both the table and chairs have adjustable legs, so they can grow right along with the kids instead of needing to be replaced in a year or two.
The wipe-clean top is another huge win. Markers, crayons, paint, sticky fingerprints... it all cleans up easily and still looks great.
We paired it with some of our favorite playroom storage and organization pieces to create a space the kids can use independently and actually help keep tidy.
If you're updating your kids' spaces this summer, the @Wayfair Hot Summer Sale is a great time to save on furniture, storage, and playroom essentials!

Our San Diego STR just got a spring refresh with help from @wayfair 🌊

We didn’t do a full renovation here.. just layered in a few fun, colorful pieces and it completely changed the feel of the space.

This is your reminder that you don’t need a massive budget or a full remodel to make your home (or STR) feel new again.

Think:

➡️ fresh textiles

➡️ fun lighting

➡️ colorful storage

➡️ new wall art

➡️ a few personality pieces

Small updates, big impact ✨

We fully renovated this bathroom at Ocotillo Ranch, but the part that actually brought it to life was layering in the right finishes. ✨

The faucet, lighting, mirror, and hardware are all from Wayfair, and they’re what took this from a construction project to a finished space that feels intentional and pulled together.

If you’re in the middle of a renovation or just looking to make a few easy updates to a bathroom, these are the kinds of upgrades that make a big difference without overcomplicating the project.

We’re taking a short holiday pause from our 50-state road trip, but our house is rented so we’re ringing in the New Year at one of our management properties in La Quinta.

Even though we haven’t been “home” in a while, we’re keeping one of our favorite holiday traditions alive - raclette dinner.

This NYE tradition started nearly ten years ago when we were living in Germany and it’s stuck ever since. Cozy food and a slow night in with family has become our favorite way to reset before the new year.

Sharing some of our @Wayfair favorites over on LTK, and the timing is perfect because their End of Year Clearance is live 🎉

We’re traveling to all 50 states in five months, and that means we’re spending Thanksgiving in coastal Alabama. 🦀

It won’t be a traditional Thanksgiving, but it will definitely be a memorable one, and to get into the holiday spirit Nash and I made cranberry mocktails… “in the fancy glasses”. 😉
