Bathroom makeover part 1 is complete!

Send this to all the moms you know! This is such a fun and easy craft to make with your kids and you’re sure to cherish it!

Steps:
1. Roll clay on wax paper or parchment paper
2. Press your kiddo’s foot in firmly
3. Cut around the foot, then let dry for 2-3 days (I’m impatient so this was my least favorite part)
4. Paint with white acrylic paint, let dry
5. Paint eyes with black acrylic paint, let dry (you can also use a Sharpie)
6. Seal with Mod Podge and let dry
7. Super glue to a shadow box backing & display (if you want to have a themed background, mine can be found @willowhavendesigns website. I just stained it to give it the look I wanted.)

We went from boring builder-grade to bold and beautiful!

We wanted a bedroom that felt calming, warm, and custom. To get that look, we added picture frame molding to all the walls, painted everything an olive green, and gave the space an entirely new look.

The tools that made it possible were the Spec Ops level and the Spec Ops nail set kit. The level helps keep every piece of molding perfectly straight, and the nail setters were a lifesaver for finishing nails that did not sink in the first time. Durable, precise, and comfortable to use, these tools were key in getting professional results on a DIY project.

Next on the list is adding tongue and groove with wood beams to the ceiling to finish the space. Stay tuned for part two of this transformation.
