Still one of my favorite Christmas decorating combos! 🎄❤️ A little Christmas tree tucked into a pretty blue and white planter and styled on a stool is such an easy way to add a little holiday charm without taking up much space. I love how it adds that cozy, collected look to a room! Sometimes the simplest decorating ideas are the best ones. ✨

So many of you had questions about the plates I hung in my kitchen (the ones from Hobby Lobby ), so I figured I’d show you exactly how I hang plates with ribbon if you can’t get your hands on the ones from Hob Lob

I found these cute Christmas plates on Amazon and thought…why not give it a try?!

It’s such an easy way to add a little Christmas charm to your dining room without buying a bunch of new decor.

The best part? You don’t need a fancy plate hanger or anything complicated. Just a little ribbon and a few minutes!

Would you hang Christmas plates like this in your dining room? 🎄

Comment PLATES and I’ll send you the link to the ones I used (and a few others)

The easiest Christmas staircase idea 🎄✨ Instead of traditional garland, hang a few lush evergreen swags along the banister and finish them with velvet ribbon + bells. It’s SO pretty, takes way less time to install, and gives your staircase that cozy, collected Christmas look.

Love everything in this photo!! New dining table and dining chairs from Walmart, they look like they should be designer and so much more expensive. Also love the rug.

Blue & white dishes will forever have my heart 🤍💙 This set gives the kitchen that classic cottage feel and looks just as pretty stacked on open shelving as it does on the table. Perfect for everyday use but pretty enough to leave on display!

It’s October, so technically it’s safe to say the C word. 🎄

I say this every year, and I don’t think you guys believe me… but Christmas decor sells out FAST.

Last year, I wanted to give my 6-foot Christmas tree a little boost, so I added some bed risers underneath it.

Because of the risers, I needed a larger tree collar. I grabbed this 33” collar and flipped it upside down—and suddenly my tree looked like it was sitting in a beautiful basket.

The best part? You don’t need the risers to do this hack! If your tree is already the height you want, any tree collar that fits your tree will work.

But seriously… these tree collars sell out every year. So if you’ve had your eye on one, grab it now before it’s gone.

Don’t make me come back and say, “I told you so.”

This might be my favorite little Christmas decorating trick yet! 🎄✨

Instead of taking up valuable floor space, put a small Christmas tree in a pretty blue & white planter and elevate it on a stool. It instantly makes the tree feel like part of the decor—and I LOVE the height it adds to a corner.

The black stool + blue & white ginger jar is such a classic combination too. 🤍💙

I love the character the turned legs add—it makes a simple entryway feel so much more collected and cozy. Add a few pillows, a basket or two underneath, and suddenly you have a pretty AND practical drop zone.

Perfect if you’re going for that cozy, collected, Nancy Meyers-inspired look without spending a fortune.

No one judge my bow making skills

I saw this idea floating around the internet and decided to add to it a bit 🎁✨

I am officially bringing back the placemat pillow!

This was actually one of the very first DIY projects I ever shared when I started my blog, and I still love it just as much today.

I spotted this placemat at Hobby Lobby and immediately knew it needed to become a pillow. Because why buy a pillow when you can make one?! 😉

Want to make one too? I linked the exact supplies I used, plus a few other cute placemats to try!

This is also a great DIY for the holidays approaching
