It’s September, so technically it’s safe to say the C word. 🎄

I say this every year, and I don’t think you guys believe me… but Christmas decor sells out FAST.

Last year, I wanted to give my 6-foot Christmas tree a little boost, so I added some bed risers underneath it.

Because of the risers, I needed a larger tree collar. I grabbed this 33” collar and flipped it upside down—and suddenly my tree looked like it was sitting in a beautiful basket.

The best part? You don’t need the risers to do this hack! If your tree is already the height you want, any tree collar that fits your tree will work.

But seriously… these tree collars sell out every year. So if you’ve had your eye on one, grab it now before it’s gone.

Don’t make me come back and say, “I told you so.”

When I get a wild hair to do something, there’s no stopping me.

Who knew the difference a $13 stencil can make?!?

I became best friends with the bottle of Motrin while doing this project but it was so worth it.

Few tips:
-If you are a perfectionist, do not attempt this. No one look too closely. It’s not perfect.

-Washing the stencil every now in then is not a suggestion, it’s a must. I learned that the hard way

-The smallest amount of paint on your roller is also must and I also learned that the hard way.

Linking everything I can. The mirrors are no longer available but I found a few similar options.
