In case you missed my stories, I’ve been transforming my husband’s office into a vintage, heirloom-worthy space — the perfect backdrop for his treasures from Connecticut. I added proper window sills (yes, can you believe the house had none?), painted the ceiling and doors, installed a chair rail, swapped the baseboards for 1x6 boards, layered on picture-frame moulding, and extended the built-in bookcase all the way to the ceiling. Crown moulding now wraps the entire room for a seamless finish.
