If you’re stuck on organization ideas—or if your kids think cleaning means shoving things in a closet—here are 3 ways I’ve optimized hidden spaces: 1. Pantry: I added two cabinets, a countertop, covered the wire racks with wood, and used a peel-and-stick backsplash along with some bamboo organizers. My kids still try to shove chips on the counter, but it’s easy to tidy up. 2. Under the Stairs: I turned this space into a “mudroom”—and when I say mud, I mean it. Cleats, backpacks, and chaos. It’s one of my favorite projects. My kids still toss their shoes in front of the bins, but they’re getting better at putting them away (daily reminders help 😆). 3. Small Reach-In Closet: My sons share a room and a closet, and I was constantly reorganizing. I added a closet system, lowered the rack and shelf to their height, and hung their T-shirts with the hangers backwards so they don’t fall off easily. So far, so good! 🙌🏼 You can find all the tutorials in my highlights @latticeandluxe or visit my Lowe’s Storefront and LTK shop for everything I used.
