I went with a warm neutral bamboo + white lining for a clean look

Sizing for reference:
My windows are 34 ¼” W x 60” H

How I hung them:
• Inside mount
• Installed about ¾” in from the front of the window frame (closer to the room, not the glass)
• About 2” in from each side
• You can adjust slightly after installing to get them perfectly centered

Since I homeschool my boys, I needed a quiet, functional workspace. I could’ve kept the mirror and table that were there before—or even splurged on a beautiful arched cabinet—but functionality won, so I built this from scratch.

I upgraded our kitchen faucet last year, and it’s one of those things I use and appreciate every single day.

My youngest son used to struggle reaching the handle on our old faucet, but now he can just tap anywhere on the faucet to turn it on and off. It even has an auto shut-off feature, so we’re not wasting water if someone forgets to turn it off.

Bonus: the batteries lasted an entire year.

And the Champagne Gold finish is just gorgeous. ✨

The Kobalt cordless nailer. It’s powerful, has an added safety power button, and in the year I’ve owned mine, it hasn’t jammed once. If he spends time on a ladder, he’ll definitely appreciate not having to drag around an air compressor.

These Amazon linen dining chairs were such a good find. They give that high-end designer look, wipe clean easily, and have held up so well with kids.

They’re also on casters, which makes pulling them in and out super easy (and apparently makes them extra fun for the kids too 🤭).

I have these rugs in our office, living room, and our dining room. They're so soft, lightweight enough that I can move them around by myself, and they've been amazing with three kids and two small dogs.

The biggest thing for me? Spills sit on top instead of soaking right in, so cleanup is super easy. And if you're putting it on hard floors, you don't need a separate rug pad because it already has a non-slip backing built in.

Definitely one of those home finds that are functional and pretty.

I’ve been wanting to add rocks in my backyard, but with kids running around I didn’t want them getting kicked everywhere or ending up in the lawn mower 😅
So my neighbors let me test PetraMax rock glue on a small patch of theirs 👀

The section I applied correctly locked in really well—definitely learned you need to spray evenly and use enough so everything sets properly. Now I just have to convince my husband to let me add rocks around our back pavers… and I’ll be using PetraMax to lock them in—win win 😄
