Zero regret bamboo shades 🤭

Added these to my living room + office and I love how they turned out

They let in the prettiest light during the day ☀️ + still give privacy at night 🙌🏼

I went with a warm neutral bamboo + white lining for a clean look

Sizing for reference:
My windows are 34 ¼” W x 60” H

How I hung them:
• Inside mount
• Installed about ¾” in from the front of the window frame (closer to the room, not the glass)
• About 2” in from each side
• You can adjust slightly after installing to get them perfectly centered

Who said small, windowless bathrooms can’t be cute and functional? ✨

This is our kids’ bathroom—about 5’ x 8’. I added a wall panel (1x4 + 1x2), painted SW Shell White, and added hooks. I also used a curved shower rod and textured curtain to open up the space.

I swapped all the hardware and faucet to matte black—plus the toilet paper holder, door hinges, and builder-grade mirror. Just finishing the toilet handle to match 🖤

Part 1 of my laundry room refresh ✨

I added a simple sill + apron to elevate the window, then softened the space with French half curtains. Such a small change, but it already feels so much more finished!

Next up: adding lattice + hooks to make drying and hanging easier 👏🏼

Materials used:
• 1x4 (apron)
• 1x6 (sill)
• Caulk
• Brad nailer + nails
• Wood filler
• Sander
• Miter saw (or any saw you’re comfortable with)
• Jig saw

Painted everything in SW Pure White (semi-gloss) 🤍

This DIY drapery ring tape was such a simple upgrade for my sliding glass door! It definitely helps it glide smoother and feel more polished when opening and closing.

I used smaller curtain rings, so I’m not sure if that’s why it still makes a bit of noise when it closes—but overall, it’s a noticeable improvement and makes everyday use feel easier 🤍

Love this 36” round mirror—it adds the perfect soft, modern touch to the entryway. I removed the faux shiplap to create a more seamless flow with the board and batten on the stairs, and it instantly opened up the space. I may add molding later for a more finished look 🤍

I gave our laundry room window a simple upgrade that made such a difference 🤍

Added a custom window apron + sill for a more finished look—used a 1x6 board for the sill and a 1x4 for the apron, all painted in SW Pure White.
