Wouldn’t it be nice if kids actually grabbed their stuff off the stairs without a million reminders? Yeah… same. So I’m testing out these wishful thinking baskets—each kid has their own, and every night after dinner, they put their stuff away. So far, no more stair piles! Will this last? TBD.

WHITE COUCH CHRONICLES 🛋️

It’s time to deep clean the couches! It’s a time consuming process but well worth it and I only do this 1-2x a year. Clearly they needed it this time because it had been quite awhile.

1. I use bleach water to spray down the really bad areas. I don’t recommend the regular use of bleach on upholstery but personally I do use it for our deep cleans.
2. Use the little green machine from @bissellclean for the rest. MAKE SURE to spray down the entire couch in order to avoid and water spots on the white fabric. That’s honestly my biggest tip for cleaning a white couch!

Our three boys all share one massive closet but it wasn’t functional at all!! And that caused a lot of frustration for mom - so it needs to be fixed. My vision is for each of them to have a designated space that is their own - drawers, shoe shelves, hanging clothes.
