Simple, easy, and lightweight beach setup!

This is one of my favorite Mom hacks for bringing kids to the beach. It reduces my anxiety so much – I know so many moms get anxious with their little ones around the ocean. Hopefully this is helpful for you too to make the beach less stressful with your kids.

I pack all of our toys in a plastic tub that I can just dump out close to where we will be sittingthen I fill that tub up with ocean water and bring it back over to the toys that way, our little ones can play with the sand, the water and the toys closer to us and a little further from the Shoreline

I have tried so many beach wagons and these big utility ones are typically hard to pull on sand. But not this one! It glides so easily, and is amazing!

Can carry up to 220 lbs. obviously the heavier it is, the more effort to pull, but we had no issues with a typical amount of stuff for a day at the beach.

If you’re like me, you don’t want to forget to reapply sunscreen on your kids (or yourself) but you could also do with a reminder.

Spot my uv is a visual reminder for when it’s time to reapply. The little sticker turns clear after applying spf and turns back purple when it’s time for more.

MOM HACK: toddler playtime at the beach

Taking little ones to the beach can be a little stressful - especially if they don’t know how to swim or if you’re bringing multiple kids.

A few years ago we started packing toys for our youngest in a plastic tub so we could set up a play area a little farther away from the ocean.

This way we are able to watch our older kids if they are in the water, and play with our little ones too. Of course everyone still gets to go swim, and jump the waves. This is just one set up we have for some of our time at the beach to make it more manageable for mom and dad.
