I’m wearing my weighted vest 😂 It’s a nice way to up the cardio
but still keep the impact down (If you haven’t used one, I’d start with 8-12lbs depending on your current fitness level)

The Mom in the Minivan, an adaptation for moms of Room on The Broom

The mom in the minivan had a mug, and a shrug that was red, and long brown hair up in a bun on her head.

How the mom wailed, and how her kids shrilled, as her minivan hit a bump and her coffee all spilled.

“Come on!” cried the mom, as they parked by the lawn. She searched for her wipes but found they were gone.

Then next to her spot parked a mom with dry-shampoo hair. Who said “Not to worry, I’ve got plenty to spare.”

She shared her pack, then sheepishly asked “After carpool, would you like to grab coffee while our kids are in school?”

“Yes!” cried the mom. They hopped in her minivan and Whoosh! They were gone.

Together they laughed about the chaos, the errands, the stress. About the exhaustion and tantrums and all of the mess.

Then off to the side they spotted a mom in a hat, whose smile fell flat.

They asked “What’s wrong?” And with a frown the mom in the hat said “I’ve been feeling quite down. I’m alone in the chaos, the errands, the stress. I’m exhausted from the tantrums, the guilt and the mess.”

“Come on!” said the mom with the bun. Come ride with us too. There’s room in my minivan just for you.

The mom in the hat smiled and clambered on. They turned up the music and Whoosh! They were gone.

For motherhood’s magic, through chaos and cheer, is finding your people and saying “Hop in! We’re here.” 💙

I love this luggage. It’s always just the right size for what I need. Good quality and super functional/practical features.

My carry-on used to match my weekender but the airline cracked it at a gate check- Beis handled it so well. They quickly sent me a replacement (I always wanted this color and will update my weekender if it ever wears out but there’s no signs of that regardless of how much I’ve used and abused it!)
The garment bag is a brilliant design. Hang your clothes first, zip that and then the rest of the bag and it becomes a duffle you can fill.
