pre-fall fashion has arrived. as we enter august, i'm excited to scout, review and share how the fashion industry is approaching and interpreting the high-fashion season. first up: @longchamp. longchamp has re-entered the chat. the american market once looked to the brand for their iconic le pliage tote, carrying it for school, errands, etc. and while the staple bag is a major driver of this resurgence, it's sister le pliage xtra xs and le pliage neo (the duffle) that I feel caught consumers attention and lured them to dig up their previously discarded bags out of storage. the former, the xtra xs, fits micro bag culture and is a handheld pouch (@bought.obsessed confirmed it fits an iphone!) that was designed and created to be a makeup pouch. it runs the nylon color wheel and is consistently selling out and reissuing. keep your eyes out for the leather colorways of the bag, pre-launched, sold out and definitely coming back as we hit our fall stride. and while we weren't watching, longchamp bolstered their leather goods line, launching the beautiful bucket style, epure, the leather le pliage phone case (@mallykgoldman and I both adore!), and the elevated roseau line, which gives toteme as a fraction of the price. this is where I see longchamp diving deeper, but it's the customers who will have to provide the green light. tldr; this "trend" is one that is long-term. the bags are thoughtfully crafted, durable and practical, making the investment one that will stand the test of the seasons, even when the virality passes. i'll link my favorites in stories 🫶🏻 longchamp longchamplepliage longchamporiginal fallfashion fashion fashion2023 falltrends fallfashiontrends LTKxNSale LTKstyletip LTKFind
