- Polka dots! I’m loving the dot trend and playing around with prints. It’s the perfect way to add some interest to an outfit so it feels a bit more fresh.
- Luxe accessories. I just adore a basic outfit with luxe accessories like a designer belt or bag. Sometimes the most simple looks are made better with accessories that make an impact.
- Playing with trends like rectangle sunglasses and scarves as belts! While some of these looks I’m not totally sold on, I do love expanding my horizons and testing out new looks. You never know what you may like 🤩

This weekend, my sister and I had our first sister trip and it was so much fun! I took her to Lake Chelan as a late birthday gift and it was everything my heart needed and more. When planning outfits for a weekend getaway like this, I always try to get creative with what I have and add in a little bit of whimsy 😆

For this trip, comfort was everything! We did a lot of exploring so I went with my new favorite printed pants. The main attraction of the weekend though was wine tasting so I got a dress from @platosclosetspokane that was perfect for being outside!
