Summer has a way of making bedrooms feel like an afterthought. Everyone's outside, everything's happening — and the bedroom becomes the room you fall into at the end of a full day.

Which is exactly why it deserves attention.

Here's how I layer it for summer —
Ground it first with a graphic rug. This sets the tone for everything above it.
Linen sheets next. Breathable, soft, gets better every wash.

Then your statement quilt. This is the layer people notice. Dark pattern over warm neutral — collected and intentional.

Pillows back to front. Three euro shams for a king, two for a queen. Then two printed velvet for pattern. One textured lumbar up front to finish.

Foot of the bed. A pick stitch quilt laid casually across the end — or swap for an oversized throw if you want something softer.

Every layer is linked. Every piece is intentional.
