Yesterday was my 8th #keytruda infusion. It started around 5 pm so I got home late. Kudos to my husband for doing all parent duties by himself. I could not have done any of my treatments without him. I only have 1 more immunotherapy treatment before my surgeries! So thankful for modern day medicine and my family for supporting me every way. Also thankful for all of you following along and providing words of comfort. Thank you!

Happy lunar new year! My girls are really loving their Korean traditional dresses (called hanbok) this year! I also got new hanboks for the whole family and enjoyed teaching my girls a little bit about their family’s cultural customs

Update on the girls’ bed frames. It’s been four months since we changed our girls’ beds. The weird smell from the bed frame eventually went away. My oldest has been sleeping well through the night since this change. My youngest has not. I may change their beds in the future since these have light weight restrictions but I’m keeping their scalloped duvet covers from etsy!

Also today was my very last post op appointment. I’m done with all surgeries that are cancer-related!!

Everything I see to store Christmas things away

I started physical therapy today again! I currently can’t feel my chest and stomach which is normal after mastectomy and diep flap surgery. Hoping I can also lower the #swellybelly before my next surgery in the new year. Hope you guys all had a great Christmas holiday!

It’s been 2.5 weeks since my #diepflapsurgery and I finally feel like I’m getting back to my old self. Recovery this time was much harder than my other times. I had a huge incision from one hip to the other hip, cuts under each breast, and 6 drains. Thank you to everyone for warm wishes, texts, and flowers. I am truly blessed for such a loving family, friends, and community!

It’s going to be October tomorrow! I have been anxiously awaiting for October to come but also wanting time to slow down at the same time. I’m getting my final surgery (hopefully) where I will be removing temporary expanders and replacing them! I’m excited to get to this point but also scared of the unknowns such as recovery. Please keep me in your prayers! Until then, please enjoy all pumpkin things for me!

I’ve been getting consistent headaches every day in the same area (middle of forehead) and I didn’t think much of it until I read Lisa’s blog on @flyagainfoundation. I am getting a scan done on my brain this Thursday. Please send me all your good vibes so I can have good results back!
