But here's the real conversation - it's not about age. It's about the cut, the length, the fabric and how you style them.

At 51, I'm dressing the way I want with intention and not letting age dictate what I wear. And you shouldn't either.

Another so called vital item and this time its denim shorts! They supposedly "look like a higher end" which I happen to own! So let's put them to the test!

Target vs Citizens!

Here's my honest review:
I love my Citizens because they are so soft, so comfy and some of my favorite denim shorts! So I'm also going to favor these!

But if you are looking for a more structured, higher waist, darker wash for less than $30, the Target pair are a good option for the price.

Jeans are mother and I'm wearing a size 25. They have a little bit of stretch in them - just the right amount! I did get the petite size so the length is perfect! I'm 5'1"

Sneakers are very comfy and I love my new necklace for a pop of red!

Sneakers do run small! I'm in a 6 but prob could have gone up to a 7! Typically I wear a 5.5 but these don't come in half sizes!

1. I don’t have to remember to move that dang elf on a shelf!!!
2. I don’t have to remember which wrapping paper is supposed to be Santa's and which is supposed to be mine
3. I don’t have to stay up late at night after kids go to bed to put together toys!

Don’t get me wrong, I miss when my kids were little! But there is also joy in them being adults!!

I definitely needed petites in the bottoms but the store doesn't carry petites! So I'll be ordering some online!!
