🎈 Happy Friday Jr.! 🎈I’m over here guzzling coffee because I couldn’t sleep last night. 🆘 REAL TALK: I’m always shocked how each stage of motherhood brings new challenges. Is anyone else caught off guard with how hard this mommin gig can get with each new big decision? Like at this point, almost 6 years in, you’d think I’d be used to it but no, with each new big decision I lie awake speculating if I’m informed enough, am accounting for who they are enough (Oh Lord, do I even know who they are?), am I checking my own biases and not letting my own past experiences dictate enough? In the end I realize that I often feel hopelessly inadequate as mom and not enough. But one thing I do know is that I love them more than enough and perhaps that right there, in the end, makes me enough. Mamas let’s support one another. Let’s not stuff our struggles deep down (or in my case in a bowl of chips I’m usually eatin in bed at 11pm) and parade around like we’re living with Ken and whatever the heck that baby Barbie’s name is in the hot pink dream house. I’ve been so incredibly blessed to have a network of girlfriends who speak their truth. Who share their truth. Who inspire me to see past the parenting doubt and I hope you’ve found the same.
