Instagram is a funny place… it can show a false sense of reality — perfect lives, perfect photos, spotless homes that can make you feel less than because your season of life looks different. The truth is, you never really know what’s happening behind the scenes. My house only looks put together on filming or photo shoot days — usually because I’m shoving things out of the camera’s view. But this room… this one is special. It’s for my younger self — for the little girl who didn’t have much growing up, who dreamed of having a Christmas like the ones in Hallmark movies. Now I get to share that dream with my kids, and I feel so incredibly grateful. I’m learning to embrace the beautiful messes, because I know one day the house will be quiet, the kids will be grown, and the messes that would drive me insane, I miss the most. And if you ever find yourself scrolling and feeling like you’re falling short which happens to me all the time — remember, Instagram isn’t real life. You’re doing better than you think. Maybe I’ll delete this, but the holidays bring out emotional Lisa. 💫 Comment SHOP and i’ll send the links for this video to your DM. Or click the link in my bio to shop. https://liketk.it/5vcTi
