Two travel non-negotiables:

1. Comfortable footwear and as a woman (who just turned 40) arch support is everything. Archies >

2. This toiletry case. I’ll be honest…. I scoffed at the price when it first came recommended, but I saw it repeat on travel favorites lists often enough that it was worth the try. Now that it’s been on at least a dozen trips I can confirm there’s not a chance I’m traveling without it. The medium size is perfect IMO for packing every toiletry, skincare, and even makeup. Small if you’re a minimalist, get the large if you’re a schlepper.

Packing for a weekend trip with 2 of my travel non-negotiables:

1. This Dagne Dover weekender bag has been my carry-on for the last year and I couldn’t love it more. It packs a ton, and with 3 interior pockets, plus an additional zip pouch, it keeps me super organized. And it’s machine washable!

2. This CalPak toiletry case. It comes in 3 sizes, the medium in my opinion is just right. It lays flat, wipes clean, and fits a ton.

A good weekend getaway starts with the bags.
