One of my favorite quotes is this one by Rumi: “Before you speak, let your words pass through three gates: Is it true? Is it necessary? Is it kind?” . I’m not perfect and I don’t always do these three things but reading it is such a great reminder of how we should live our lives. It only takes a minute to run your words through a filter. We can never shove our words back into our mouths, so this quote is a great reminder to me to always think before I speak. What’s your favorite quote?
