Aging backwards and here’s how! Anti-aging skincare. My favorite moisturizer and wrinkle-eraser peptide serum (plus a more affordable option). Non-toxic sunscreen for the entire family. Colorscience SPF makeup for face. Love this collagen lip mask at night. I take a scoop of creatine every morning. Love my HA and body oil combo at night! This is a great non-toxic self tanner in color ‘dark’. MICRONEEDLING: I’ve tried SO many different systems but I personally love SkinPen! SkinPen is a type of microneedling. I would find someone on your area who does that. You typically need 4-6 sessions to get the results you’re after and can usually purchase a series of 3 to save a little $$ overall. You space them out a month or so in-between treatments. After you’re done with that initial 4-6 treatments - you can usually move to maintenance (maybe for you that’s twice a year - everyone is different). SkinPen is actually more budget friendly than other systems too. Microneedling RF is all the rage but I would personally stay away from it because it can inadvertently target fat in your face and I don’t have a lot of fat to begin with so I don’t want them to accidentally blast that. You are red for 24-48 hours and can wear makeup after 48 hours so recovery isn’t bad at all! LASERS: I am currently trying to treat melasma and pigment issues. I have been doing VBeam (pulsed-dye laser) + Picoway (targets pigment) + Nordlys Frax 1940 (non-ablative fractional laser). Melasma is very difficult to treat, especially if it’s deep (which is the case with me). I anticipate I’ll need multiple sessions to get the results I’m after BUT I am super impressed with my overall skin texture and brightness since starting the laser treatments. These require minimal downtown and you can wear makeup after 48 hours. Your skin will slowly flake off within 7 days, revealing smoother and brighter skin! They will numb you - pain level is a 5 for me (definitely manageable).
