I heard this would happen, and it did. But I found something that actually helps without filler.

How I Use It:
1️⃣ Apply a thin layer of concealer first (less is more).
2️⃣ Dab Instant Eye Lift only in the hollow area (not all the way to the lash line).

My Go-To Eye Look ✨

The biggest mistake? Applying skincare in the morning, then waiting hours before makeup. Your foundation needs a freshly plumped + hydrated base to look smooth and seamless.

Here’s what I used to prep my skin in this routine:

THAYERS Milky Hydrating Toner — snow mushroom + hyaluronic acid for a hydration boost

BEEKMAN 1802 Milk RX Advanced Better Aging Cream — rich, smoothing, perfect for mature skin

ALASTIN HydraTint SPF 36 — my holy grail tinted sunscreen (wears beautifully alone or under foundation)

💡 Pro tip: If you applied skincare hours ago, revive your skin with a hydrating serum or primer right before foundation. It makes all the difference for glow + smoothness.

Lip Mistakes to Avoid + How to Fix Them!
When it comes to creating full, youthful lips, it’s all about the right liner, lipstick & gloss combo.

✅ My Lip Tips (the Do’s):
• Use a creamy liner that’s easy to blend + soften
• Choose a tone that’s close to your natural lips, just slightly deeper
• Slightly overline at the border (not inside the lip line)
• Pair with a creamy lipstick a touch lighter than your liner
• Always finish with a gloss or lip oil for volume + shine

🚫 The Don’ts:
• Liner too dark for your lipstick
• Harsh cupid’s bow definition
• Matte lips only (they can make lips look smaller & emphasize texture)

Harsh black liner? Try this instead!
I love the definition eyeliner gives, but placement + color make all the difference. A chocolate brown or bronze liner can look softer, more modern, and just as impactful as black.

💡 My Eyeliner Tips:

Skip rimming the whole eye (it makes eyes look smaller).

Focus liner on the outer half of the lash line.

Always smudge your liner for a softer finish.

On lower lashes, swap liner for shadow or a bronze pencil.

The biggest mistake I see (and make myself sometimes!) is applying way too much under the eyes. Concealer is already the heaviest, most pigmented product in your routine, so a tiny bit goes a long way.

Here’s my concealer hack for smooth, crease-free under-eyes:

Work the concealer onto the back of your hand first, then pick it up with a brush.

Apply just a dot in the inner + outer corners and blend outward.

Always finish by tapping with a clean brush or finger to absorb excess before setting with powder.

How to Wash Your Makeup Brushes (The Right Way!)

🧼 This is the RIGHT WAY to clean your makeup brushes! Dirty brushes = breakouts, streaky makeup, and damaged bristles… we want to avoid that.
Here’s how I do it:
STEP 1: Start with warm water, not hot! Hot water can loosen the glue that holds your brush together. You just want it warm enough to break up makeup.
STEP 2: Wet the bristles only. Always point the brush down so water doesn’t seep into the base. Don’t soak the whole brush, just the fibers!
STEP 3: Take your brush cleanser, liquid or solid, and swirl the brush gently in your palm. You’ll start to see all that product come out. Rinse and repeat until the water runs clear.
STEP 4: Gently squeeze out the extra water, reshape the brush, and lay it flat on a towel to dry. Let it dry completely before standing it up. This helps prevent shedding!

🧽✨ I wash my brushes every 1–2 weeks to keep them soft, fresh, and performing their best. Trust me, your skin and makeup will thank you!
