✨5 PAIRS OF PANTS THAT AREN’T JEANS✨ Let’s face it, there’s a time and a place for jeans in the summer. Most of the time I’m opting for light layers, and these check the box! 1) I wore this first pair to my kids field day and a teacher literally ordered them on the spot she loved them so much 😆 I think that’s the best compliment you can get! They are an active pant, high-waisted with a drawstring for adjusting. Lightweight and flowy in the best way! Without a higher sole these are long on me (just shy of 5’4”). 2) These are a look for less for a popular higher end brand. They are definitely not equal, but a great option nonetheless! Lightweight, easy to dress up or down, come in multiple colors. These will shrink if you dry them so be forewarned! 3) I’ve had these linen pants for a several years and I love! They are more of a cropped fit but I love the linen fabric and think they are great for brunch, drinks, or bopping around town! 4) These are a linen barrel style pant. Maybe slightly long for my liking but I love that they’re a little different and I like the pop of color! Come in multiple colors. 5) I LOVE THESE 😍 another look for less that is extremely comfortable and lightweight. These are great for sports, running errands, or even could be dressed up for work! 6) Okay, these are just number 2 in the white but I love them! Not see through because they are double lined but perfect for summer! Great with sandals or sneakers for a more casual look, but you could also add a wedge sandal for a dressier look! ✨WAYFAIR FAVORITES IN MY HOME✨ 1) These dining chairs are both from @wayfair! These mocha chairs are just 😍😍 I love the shape and color of them so much! The perfect addition! I wanted to find something I was in love with so it was over a year before I finally found these and I’m so glad I was patient! 2) This reeded sideboard has been in our house for several years now and houses lots of kids toys and crafts for easy access without the visual clutter! Love the curved edges on the cabinet doors. 3/4) These sconces are a newer purchase and I love the soft light they give off! The shade filters the light for the prettiest glow. Love that it provides up and down lighting! 5) This arched mirror is the perfect addition to our bedroom! Love catching glimpses of my bedding in it and allows me to see full outfits when trying on clothes! Plus, I love that it helps reflect natural light into our room. 6-8) Several rugs we own and love! The first in my dining room is such an amazing rug. Low pile making it easy to clean and hides dirt/stains well. Perfect for high traffic areas but is still soft! The CloudPile rug is the softest thing ever and if I can convince you to get one thing from the sale it’s this rug. 10/10, no notes! 8) Thesw floating shelves were the perfect addition to our powder room! This new collection from Walmart is next level. SO worth the hype. I basically bought the entire collection and have zero regrets. We will use this for all our outdoor hosting and when going to other’s homes, too! ✨3 FRIDAY FAVORITES✨ Happy Friday y’all! We made it to the freakin’ weekend - and a long one at that! 🙌🏻🍻 Thought it might be fun to round up some of my favorite winter gear for this week’s favorites! As a midwesterner, we got lots of colddd, snowy and windy days (like negative temps next week 🥶). These are some tried and true favorites! 1) I got this jacket on Prime Day for under $100! Here’s what I love about it: pockets, pockets, and more pockets for all the accessories and chapstick that you need to have on hand. Two, the fleece lined hood is sooo warm! My biggest complaint is that I wish it could zip up higher on my face to protect on those windy days, and it could be a *wee* bit longer. But for under $100 it’s been well worn and will continue to be! 2) I have been wanting these boots forever and I also grabbed these on Prime Day! These are GREAT! I love the grip on them for those icy days, they are waterproof, and keep my feet warm. Plus they are super easy to throw on when it’s not super snowy and I’m walking my dog or just running some errands. 3) Can’t pass up a good hat! I love these Carhartt hats and they come in SO many colors! 4) I gave you an extra because sunnies are necessary during these bright winter days (the winter sun just hits different, IYKYK)! This brand is an absolute fave of mine. VERY affordable but have lots of very on trend pairs. Plus I don’t feel bad when I ultimately drop them or my kids play with them 🙃 Hope you all have the best weekend! They love to turn the key and watch this thing go as they listen to the Christmas music. I haven’t shared this space much on the feed lately! Fun fact, this was my first “DIY” project on this page. I painted this accent wall and the rest of the room. I STILL haven’t added moulding like I’ve wanted to in nearly 3 years. It needs to happen. I’d also really love to add some beams on the ceiling. Maybe a someday project! Either way I still LOVE this space so much. I want to do something above my desk. I know people probably have opinions about desks in bedrooms, but my husband and I can’t work at the same time so this is our compromise. Sometimes I want to put a linen magnetic board with some other “officey” type things, but I worry it will look cluttered and stress me out more. Would you do a gallery wall with some mixed frames? It’s so calming to me. And then I found this print from @collectionprints and I had an entire color palette for my room. Fun fact: painting this wall was actually my first project on this page.
