✨MUST HAVE TRAVEL ESSENTIALS✨ These are some of my tried and true favorite travel items I have used for years! -These packing cubes make packing a cinch! I can fit so much in them and it makes things so much easier when packing with kids so everything stays separated. And these shoe bags keep our clothes from all the junk we walk on! -These toiletry and makeup bags fit all of my hair, makeup, and skincare essentials! I keep basically all of my travel stuff in the hanging bag so it’s ready to go. And I love that this makeup bag lies flat! -This portable charger allows you to charge up to 4 devices at once. It comes in super handy (especially at Disney when you are constantly using your phone). It’s thin and easily fits into a purse. -I love, love, love my Kindle! It’s super thin so I can easily throw it into my carry on or personal item and it’s great because I can have more than one book if needed! -These mesh bags I use for everything from travel to home organization! I typically throw all my cords in here, but I use them for sunscreen and meds for my kids or as extra bags for a change of clothes. ✨LUCKY CHARMS MARSHMALLOW TREAT✨ If you’re looking for a fun, simple way to celebrate St. Patty’s these marshmallow treats are a hit! Super easy to make with only 4 ingredients! 1/3 cup unsalted butter pinch of salt 12 ounce bag of marshmallows 5 1/2 cups Lucky Charms cereal Grease a 9 x 9 pan with cooking spray and set aside. In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the marshmallows and salt and stir with a rubber spatula, scraping down the sides to make sure the marshmallows do not burn. As soon as the marshmallows are melted, remove from the heat immediately. Add the Lucky Charms cereal, folding to coat the cereal completely. (I’d recommend spraying your spatula with some cooking oil to prevent sticking—ask me how I know 🙃) Spoon the mixture into the prepared pan, pressing down into an even layer. Place in the fridge to set for at least 20 minutes. Once set, use a sharp knife to cut the treats into 12 rectangles. Not my typical choice, but I can imagine color drenching and some awesome moulding like I did here 😍 This is the color Rockwood Dark Red by @sherwinwilliams and I loooove! What do you think?! Would you do it or too bold? I try to remind myself—it’s just paint! This rug is also so gorgeous and complements the color so well! ✨AMAZON MOST USED KITCHEN FINDS✨ 1) This paper towel holder with the built in spray is the most genius product. It’s all right at your fingertips making cleaning up spills a breeze! 2) These silicone utensils are easy to clean and food safe. A better alternative to plastic and high heat safe. 3) These magnetic measuring spoons are another genius product. Easy to separate but still easy to keep together. Plus the dual side makes getting spices out of jars a non-issue! 4) These wine glasses are a favorite of mine. I love the shape of them and they are made out of crystal. The perfect size, too! Come in a set of 4. 5) This bamboo organizer is perfect for utensil use. It is expandable and has enough space for all your daily essentials! Non slip bottom. 6) I have multiple sets of these soap pumps around my home. They look elevated on your countertop and allow you to customize what you have at arms length! Come in other color combinations, too! 7) These stirring spoons are perfect for my coffee bar. A great size, don’t stain, and sometimes bits just about the little things 🫶🏻 8) I grabbed these glass food storage containers a few months ago and they seal so well making them leak proof and airtight. Plus being glass they are non-toxic and oven safe. The modular design makes storing them easy! 9) I love these silicone oven mitts and pot holders! They make gripping pans easy, they wipe down without issue, and they are heat resistant unlike most cotton ones. The ✨BEST✨ $20 active shorts I’m pretty sure the only color I don’t have in these shorts is red, and you can bet the only reason I don’t is because they’re not available in my size! These shorts are the BEST! I wear them year after year and basically every day to play with my boys. They have built-in lining, pockets on each side (one side zips to keep your belongings secure), a wide waist band that cinches to fit you. I am normally a size 2 in pants/shorts and I’m wearing XS here. Also, just an FYI, all the tops are active tops from @target, too. 😉 Tops are all XS except for the yellow tank, which is size S. This new collection from Walmart is next level. SO worth the hype. I basically bought the entire collection and have zero regrets. We will use this for all our outdoor hosting and when going to other’s homes, too! ✨3 FRIDAY FAVORITES✨ Happy Friday y’all! We made it to the freakin’ weekend - and a long one at that! 🙌🏻🍻 Thought it might be fun to round up some of my favorite winter gear for this week’s favorites! As a midwesterner, we got lots of colddd, snowy and windy days (like negative temps next week 🥶). These are some tried and true favorites! 1) I got this jacket on Prime Day for under $100! Here’s what I love about it: pockets, pockets, and more pockets for all the accessories and chapstick that you need to have on hand. Two, the fleece lined hood is sooo warm! My biggest complaint is that I wish it could zip up higher on my face to protect on those windy days, and it could be a *wee* bit longer. But for under $100 it’s been well worn and will continue to be! 2) I have been wanting these boots forever and I also grabbed these on Prime Day! These are GREAT! I love the grip on them for those icy days, they are waterproof, and keep my feet warm. Plus they are super easy to throw on when it’s not super snowy and I’m walking my dog or just running some errands. 3) Can’t pass up a good hat! I love these Carhartt hats and they come in SO many colors! 4) I gave you an extra because sunnies are necessary during these bright winter days (the winter sun just hits different, IYKYK)! This brand is an absolute fave of mine. VERY affordable but have lots of very on trend pairs. Plus I don’t feel bad when I ultimately drop them or my kids play with them 🙃 Hope you all have the best weekend! Truly just like Christmas, but works during wintertime, too! 🙌🏻 2) This is THE color of the season and I am here for it! 👏🏻 I think this color looks gorgeous on any skin tone and I love the gold detailing on this bag. My favorite bag for on the go with kiddos. It fits all my essentials! 3) This little building block music box is a hit with my kiddos! They love to turn the key and watch this thing go as they listen to the Christmas music. It brings me back when I was a kid and the little music box my grandma had for the holidays 🫶🏻 My kiddos started break today and we did lots of shopping before family comes in town this weekend (hence why I’m getting around to this so late - I forgot what day it was 🤪)! I haven’t shared this space much on the feed lately! Fun fact, this was my first “DIY” project on this page. I painted this accent wall and the rest of the room. I STILL haven’t added moulding like I’ve wanted to in nearly 3 years. It needs to happen. I’d also really love to add some beams on the ceiling. Maybe a someday project! Either way I still LOVE this space so much. I want to do something above my desk. I know people probably have opinions about desks in bedrooms, but my husband and I can’t work at the same time so this is our compromise. Sometimes I want to put a linen magnetic board with some other “officey” type things, but I worry it will look cluttered and stress me out more. Would you do a gallery wall with some mixed frames? ✨diy laundry room glow up✨ The dread I used to feel going into this space. Like, zero joy. Hated it. It felt old and outdated, the fact that the cabinets didn’t go to the ceiling drove me nuts, I couldn’t easily reach them because of the pedestals, I had no working space, and the floors felt dirty and cold. Jump to now, and sometimes I just stand in there because it feels like the most charming little space and it FUNCTIONS! 👏🏻 Here’s your sign that if you put a little effort into it, even during small snippets of time, you will not regret it!
