However your home looks, the size of it, how old or new it is, it really doesn’t matter. The people are what make it home 🫶🏻 So when you’re feeling unsatisfied or frustrated with where you want the state of things to be, don’t lose sight of the heart of it all. I DIYed this wallpaper 3 years ago now and am still in love with it! I’m the only girl in our household so I wanted a space that was a little more feminine and thought this was a fun spot to do it!

BUT…I’m itching to do something more in this space. I have been thinking about how exactly I want it to look and what I might want to add for some time now. Haven’t wanted to rush into anything. But I think I have narrowed it down!

Okay, truth be told, I am really happy it’s September, BUT I am also not looking forward to those later ‘ber months at the moment 😬 I think those of us that live in colder climates LIVE for summer time and warmer months because 😮‍💨 those cold months are TOUGH. That being said, I LOVE the cozy feel of home in the fall and winter, so…at least there’s that 🙃

My most favorite MLUE 💙

Wainscoting color is Van Deusen Blue by Benjamin Moore. My son picked it out and it is the prettiest shade! A bright, but deep blue that is the most calming color.

✨A LITTLE GIFT FOR SOMEONE WHO IS ABOUT TO DO A LOT 🍎✏️

These are the gifts I’m giving to my kids’ teacher this year! Gifting is definitely in no way a requirement, but I have a lot of teachers in my life and I know how much they do throughout the year to keep my kids loved and cared for, not to mention teaching them academics and beyond. This is just a little way for me to show them some love back.

I am a sucker for a theme and icon glasses so to me this was just the perfect little thing! Filled it with some goodies they can use in/out of school! Not pictured here but I plan to add a gift card as well!

✨PAINT COLORS IN MY HOME✨

I realized I have several reels with these colors in them, but no photos for my photo lovers! I am a total paint nerd and have SO many paint colors saved in the notes app on my phone, plus screenshots and Pinterest photos! Anyone else this way? 😅 If you are drop your favorites in the comments! 👇🏻

These photos all in natural light with no filters (I never do!). We started with Agreeable Grey throughout our house as a base. It is the most beautiful chameleon color with warm undertones. It’s a great option if you don’t want white walls. Over the 7 years of living in our home we’ve added more and more color. Clearly I have a color preference 🤭 Looking to add some more to my powder bath for a little more dimension in there but it took 3 years for to decide how. Here’s to living in your home and not rushing the process 🫶🏻
