The two best parts about being stuck at home these days are
1. Getting to let my hair air dry &
2. Getting time to read books again.

On a side note, I’ve been off Instagram & Facebook for the past 9 months and it has been really nice, reconnecting with friends, spending more quality time with my family, reading and enjoying life. It really is amazing just how much of our time social media can consume. Minutes of scrolling, turn into hours, which turn into days. If I’ve learned anything being off almost this whole year, I’ve learned that there are much more important things in life that we should be present for. I would highly suggest that you take a few days to disconnect yourselves, and really spend time doing the things you love again! Whether it’s sports, playing an instrument, painting, or even gardening, Go Do That! It’s so good for the soul.

I’m still tip toeing back into social media and may still limit myself to only a day or two a week because it’s been really nice feeling 100% in control of my day and my time.

Anywho, I hope you and your families are all well. Looking forward to reconnecting on the Instagram world again too.

Just finished an unbelievable book. Do you guys remember the show Duck Dynasty? Well Sadie is the daughter of Willie and Korie Robertson and has been traveling the world the past few years preaching and speaking about her journey with God.

I was randomly roaming the aisles of target the other day and found myself in the book section. For some reason I was just drawn to pick up this book and started reading the back cover. It just seemed so positive and uplifting. With all the negativity around the world today, I wanted some more happiness and hope in my life. I definitely urge you to go grab this book and do the same.

Throughout the book, Sadie tells stories based on her own personal experiences and sites scripture to the lessons she’s learned. It really renewed my hope and faith and reminded me to bring my focus back to God.
