Today is Maine’s open lighthouse day where over two dozen plus houses are open for people to visit. Maine has 68 lighthouses, located through out the state along the coast and rivers. I have been to fifteen of them as well as seen eight more off shore. This is just some of them. And I did forget the one I almost got arrested at because I had no idea it was turned into a top secret military base😅
Whenever I travel, I prefer going to a place that has lighthouses, and In my opinion Maine has the prettiest ones.
