I have always and will always be a champion for women and the amazing things our bodies can do. That being said, I also know first hand how hard it is when our bodies, when what society has told us gives us our worth (fyi it doesn’t) turns against us and doesn’t work the way it should. It sucks. It is its own death. A grief far to many women go through because women’s health doesn’t matter. Women’s health is NOT profitable. Our pain does not matter.
But it does. And I see you. I am you. And we hurt and cry together.
I know today is tough, so please be kind to yourself and may there be brighter skies next Mother’s Day, because while the world doesn’t champion women, WOMEN do and when we unite, there is hope.

Some of you might remember this story. A few years ago I did a light house tour and Googled all the light houses in Maine. This was one of them. Nowhere did it say that it had been turned into a military base with ARMED guards with g*ns at the gate!
I just wanted to see a lighthouse. In my defense I was not the only one who Google did dirty, and a couple years later I went with my friend, but this time we were aware, but again others weren’t. 😅
