The kid that you can’t see on the couch behind me decided that 3:30 am was the optimal time to wake up today. My husband searching for his lost phone after work woke her and that was that. She apparently was living her best watching the sunrise life and is still going strong. I on the other hand slept, and still feel like I’ve been awake for 42 years.

Also I’m wearing the vintage 1980s Kenneth J Lane necklace that I bought off eBay. I love it.

It’s a little too cold, windy, and rainy to wear as a dress but I’m a fan of dresses over trousers. What I really love is that the sides of it don’t go up high and show your whole leg like many shirt dresses. It’s a struggle to find a style that doesn’t have those side slits. Also comes in black, and striped. It’s a nice heavy organic cotton and isn’t sheer. #AprilFavs
